COVID-19 Update

At ENT Associates, we continue to do our best to keep our patients and staff safe while providing uninterrupted services for as many of our patients as possible.

We must balance this with the risk that ENT doctors might be exposed to when in contact with their patients. After all, most of our examination techniques necessitate close interaction with our patients.

We are converting some of our face-to-face consultations into tele-consultations. Not all patients can be fully assessed in this manner because of the unique nature of our specialty. Nevertheless, we are confident that we can reduce the need for physical visits to only those who strictly need it. If you have an appointment scheduled with us, we will be in touch with you regarding this over the next few days.

In these unprecedented times, let us each try our hardest to get through this together.

We are taking our lead from the Ministry of Health and their expertise. We are not second-guessing as to what comes next, but we are asking questions and preparing for various scenarios.

Please help us all be safe by completing this checklist with us on the phone prior to your next visit to our practice.

If you have the following travel or contact history or any of the symptoms outlined below, please do not visit our practice without calling us first and discussing your situation:

  • recent return from overseas travel (in the past 14 days) or
  • close contact with someone who has recently returned from one of the above countries (in the past 14 days) or
  • close contact with someone who is a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 or
  • experiencing symptoms of respiratory infection such as raised temperature, a sore throat, a cough, experiencing chest discomfort or difficulties with breathing (regardless of travel history).
